Eligibility Criteria for B.Des Interaction Design
1. They can directly take admission to a BDes course if they have graduated from a recognized educational board, through direct admission to colleges, or through various entrances and counselling afterwards.
2. Aspirants can pursue BDes if they have completed their diploma course in design recognized by AICTE.
3. Having 45%- 50% in aggregate is essential for admission to the course.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
Career after B.Des Interaction Design
After four years of the BDes course, students will be ready to join industries and develop themselves as professionals. They are graphic design specialists who create multimedia content for websites, ads, televisions, etc to promote the products and services of a company. The entry-level salary of a product designer is between Rs. 4 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh.
The salary package varies as per professional experience and educational experience. Product designers are in charge of creating designs for the product both manually and digitally. They also have to do thorough research for understanding the market of the given product.
